About the CCSAA
The primary purpose of the Clinical Costing Standards Association of Australia (CCSAA) is to provide a platform for further research and discussion regarding the implementation of health costing standards and of issues confronting clinical costing managers in hospitals. It provides members in Australia (and overseas) with a means of communicating clinical costing issues, receiving updated Clinical Costing Standards and industry news.
Additional objectives of the CCSAA include:
- To provide a stimulus for developing and further enhancing clinical costing systems, and to foster further discussion regarding clinical costing systems and issues.
- To support CCSAA members through improved communication and education.
- Assist the Commonwealth with the development of the Australian Hospital Patient Costing Standards for hospitals using or implementing patient costing systems.

To support the clinical costing workforce and improve the costing of health services across Australia by assisting with the development of national clinical costing standards that promote best practice and provide a benchmark for all hospitals to achieve.
